laptopmag[1]
Reviewer score 75% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition has an i7-9750H processor with 32GB of RAM. It transcoded a 4K video to 1080p on our HandBrake benchmark in 10 minutes and 12 seconds. Razer packed in its Razer Synapse app, which lets you customize the performance of the CPU, GPU and fans. At $3,999, this machine is incredibly pricey, and only that it runs warm and has poor speakers.
Pros
- Gorgeous 4K OLED display
- Powerful performance
- Comfortable keyboard
Cons
- Poor speakers
- Poor battery life
notebookcheck[2]
Reviewer score 75% (normalized by Neofiliac)H in the Blade 15 is an octa-core Comet Lake-based processor. It can usually achieve playable frame rates at 1080p on the highest settings. Modern titles are also playable at resolutions above 1080p, but only on lower settings - especially at 4K. An M.2-2280 NVMe SSD from Samsung serves as the system drive.
Pros
- Matte IPS display
- Good system performance
- Good battery life
Cons
- Dim display
- No Thunderbolt 3
pcmag[3]
Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)Razer's Studio 15 Studio Edition is designed to be used for creative work. It shares the dual-fan cooling design of the Blade 15 Advanced. While it doesn't match the performance or expandability of high-end mobile workstations, none are as sleek nor do they get as good battery life.
Pros
- Sleek aluminum chassis
- Excellent battery life
- High-refresh-rate 4K OLED display
- Solid performance
Cons
- No Thunderbolt 3 port
techradar[4]
Reviewer score 95% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition has a 4K screen at 3,840 x 2,160. The screen of the 15-inch MacBook Pro also has 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. With thin bezels on either side of the display, it's clear that it's the main attraction. Razer knows it's worth the high price for many people.
Pros
- Beautiful Retina display
- Solid build quality
- Excellent battery life
Cons
- No memory card reader
trustedreviews[5]
Reviewer score 88% (normalized by Neofiliac), at just over five seconds, but it’s still a stunning feat. Along with the beastly GPU, these results were also likely assisted by the speedy SSD onboard. The Studio Edition isn’t designed specifically for gaming, but unlike a MacBook Pro 16, it can game – and respectably so. One performance-related downside of this laptop is that it can get very, very hot. When running creative software or games, the Blade 15 Studio Edition gets noticeably warm on the top and the underside can be scorching.
Pros
- Gorgeous 4K screen
- Impressive performance
- Excellent keyboard
Cons
- Battery life could be better
- No Thunderbolt 3
