    Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
If we had to pick one word to describe the Z8H's picture quality, it would be striking. There's intense brightness to the HDR highlights, and it maintains very good black levels. The Motion Flow option might add a little bit of the “Soap Opera Effect” to movies.
    Pros
    • Impressive HDR performance
    • Premium design
    • Premium sound
    Cons
    • No 4K support

    Reviewers from t3 have found:
The 75ZH8 is built from the ground up to excel with HDR content. The colour and light range are both clearly expanded, but subtly enough to ensure that the results look natural and engaging rather than gaudy or forced. The main speakers create a room-filling, forward-presenting sound that swells massively from the moment it starts to escape from Sony's innovative drivers.
    Pros
    • Gorgeous picture quality
    • Dolby Atmos and HDR10+ support
    • Impressive sound quality
    Cons
    • Android TV integration is a bit complicated
    • No 4K HDR support

    techradar[3]

Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from techradar have found:
Sony 75ZH8 has a single HDMI port, so can't play 8K via USB or streaming sources. Upscaling of 4K and HD sources also doesn't produce quite sharp and aggressively 8K-looking results as Samsung's AI-driven upscaling engine. There's built-in Dolby Atmos support too, as well as a Dolby processing mode for adding more ‘scale' to non-Atmos sources.
    Pros
    • Superb HDR picture quality
    • Dolby Atmos support
    Cons
    • 8K isn’t as bright as 8K
    • No 8K support

    Reviewers from tomsguide have found:
Sony gave us our first glimpse of its 2020 flagship TVs during its CES 2020 kickoff. We got to go hands on with the Sony Master Series Z8H and the gorgeous A8H 4K OLED. The new 8K set features an improved version of Sony's Acoustic Audio Plus to deliver sound that seems to come directly from the screen.
    Pros
    • Superb 8K picture
    • Excellent audio
    Cons
    • Pricey compared to last year's model

    trustedreviews[5]

    Reviewers from trustedreviews have found:
The KD-75ZH8’s immense brightness means that it suffers much less with the clipping issues of some other Sony HDR TVs. The X1 Ultimate processor is on hand to ensure that even the most subtle tonal differences and changes are all presented with precision. Big, bold but also refined pictures such as those delivered by the Sony ZH8 deserve to be partnered by equally big, bold and refined sound.
    Pros
    • Big, bold and refined picture
    • Impressive sound
    • Superb Dolby Atmos decoding
    Cons
    • No native 8K support
    • No Google Assistant support

    whathifi[6]

Reviewer score 82% (normalized by Neofiliac)
    Reviewers from whathifi have found:
There's a naturalism to the ZH8's performance that few can match. Its edges aren't as sharp as those of the Samsung Q950TS, but there's a smoothness and subtlety to the presentation that's utterly convincing. Dolby Atmos is supported and, in conjunction with the Acoustic Auto Calibration feature, gives appropriate soundtracks plenty of scope and scale.
    Pros
    • Impressive picture quality
    • Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support
    Cons
    • Not as sharp as Samsung Q950TS
