Product Overview

Lenovo Yoga C940-15IRH is a flagship 15.6-inch 2-in-1 convertible laptop. Powered by 9th-gen Intel Core processors, the C940-15IRH combines portability, battery life, and multimedia prowess in a sleek, ultra-thin CNC aluminum chassis.
A unique feature of the C940 is the rotating sound bar with Dolby Atmos that maintains front-facing projection whichever position the user leaves the device with its 360-degree hinge.
Despite measuring just over 2/3 of an inch with bezels less than 4mm thin, the C940-15IRH boasts a discrete NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU that makes graphics- and video-related operations notably faster.
Alongside the 15.6-inch model, Lenovo also introduced the 14-inch C940 that shares much of the same features.

Reviewers from cnet have found:
The Lenovo Yoga C940 is an all-in-one desktop with a 15.6-inch display. The backlit keyboard has enough travel and feedback to make touch typing comfortable. The C940 has two Thunderbolt 3 ports and one USB-A port, which means you'll likely need a dock or adapter.
Pros
  • Slim and light
  • Excellent performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No HDMI out or SD card slot

digitaltrends[2]

Reviewer score 78% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from digitaltrends have found:
The Yoga C940 15 is a fine midrange gaming laptop. It's not quite as fast as the better-equipped XPS 15, but as a complimentary feature, Lenovo packed in 69 watt-hours of battery. The one-year warranty is disappointing, but we can't fault Lenovo for this industry standard.
Pros
  • Powerful 2-in-1
  • Bright 4K OLED display
  • Comfortable keyboard
Cons
  • No Core i9 option

laptopmag[3]

Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from laptopmag have found:
The Lenovo Yoga C940 has decent battery life, but we've seen better from other laptops with 1080p displays. Lenovo's 512GB SSD copied 4.97GB of data in 11 seconds, translating to 463 megabytes per second. For $1,799, you can go with the MSI Prestige 15, which offers a more colorful display.
Pros
  • Gorgeous 4K display
  • Strong performance
  • Strong security features
Cons
  • Poor speakers
  • Poor battery life

notebookcheck[4]

Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from notebookcheck have found:
There are no included extras in the box aside from the active stylus housed in the laptop itself. A USB Type-C to HDMI adapter would have been appreciated since the system integrates no HDMI ports. The standard one-year limited warranty applies. Protection can be extended up to four years for an additional $100 USD.
Pros
  • Slim bezels
  • Sleek design
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No 4K UHD display option

pcmag[5]

Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcmag have found:
Lenovo's Yoga C940 is as bulky and heavy as its 13.3-inch peers. It delivers solid performance and an attractive battery life in an attractive package. The Spectre x360 15 won this event in impressive style, but the Yoga showed a more-than-respectable runtime.
Pros
  • Sleek, attractive design
  • Solid performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • No Thunderbolt 3 port

pcworld[6]

Reviewer score 74% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from pcworld have found:
The Lenovo Yoga C940 15 uses the Max-Q version of Nvidia's GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card. It's a solid performer on the CPU side, and it holds its own on the GPU side despite not being officially a gaming rig. Battery life holds up quite nicely as well, both in benchmarks and everyday use.
Pros
  • Sleek design
  • Solid performance
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Dim display
  • Dim trackpad

tomshardware[7]

Reviewer score 77% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from tomshardware have found:
The Lenovo Yoga C940 runs Windows 10 Home and, as a result, includes bloatware like Netflix and Candy Crush. The laptop comes with a one-year limited warranty, though it can be extended for an additional cost. The Dolby Atmos-powered sound system did not disappoint this YouTube addict.
Pros
  • Gorgeous 1080p display
  • Dolby Atmos sound system
  • Good battery life
Cons
  • Nothing in particular
