Leica APO-Summicron-SL 50 f/2 ASPH is a prime lens for L-mount mirrorless cameras. It shares the same dimensions and filter size with other APO-Summicron-SL lenses released thus far.
Like all APO-Summicron-SL lenses, the 50 f/2 ASPH features robust stepping DSD (Dual Syncro Drive) motors to ensure fast and precise autofocus. At the same time, it is able to offer uncompromised manual focusing. Combined these features, the APO-Summicron-SL 50 f/2 ASPH makes for a compelling choice for videography.
This lens's 50mm focal length, meanwhile, ensures that it is a great option for a wide range of photographic genres, especially portrait and street photography.
