Leica APO-Summicron-SL 35mm F2 ASPH is a wide-angle prime lens for the L-mount mirrorless system. It covers the Full-Frame image circle. Introduced by Leica in 2019, it has 13 elements in 11 groups.
For incremental weathers, Leica is kind enough to include weather sealing.
As a wide-angle prime lens that happens to have relatively small maximum aperture, it is best suited for landscape photography, though some may wish for a brighter alternative for versatility. Even though the lens is not stabilized, at this focal range it does not usually matter. In fact, some may be able to get cleaner corners without image stabilization.
