cameralabs[1]
Reviewer score 79% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Canon RF 24-240mm is the first native super-zoom for the EOS R system. It provides the convenience of a 10x range taking you from wide-angle to respectable telephoto. It's not bit contrasty or contrasty but equally there’s no obvious aberrations. To be fair, Canon is some fairly substantial corrections behind the lens.
Pros
- Excellent image quality
- Easy to use
- Compact and compact
Cons
- Lacklustre contrast

Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Canon RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 IS USM Superzoom Lens' headlining feature is its focal length range. The 10x zoom range makes this lens an ideal solution to a wide range of photography needs. The fast, quiet, smooth Nano USM-driven AF system is superb. The 5-stop dynamic image stabilization system adds greatly to the versatility of this rather-narrow max aperture lens.
Pros
- Fast, quiet, smooth Nano USM autofocus
- 5-stop dynamic image stabilization
- 5x zoom range
Cons
- Larger filter threads than the 24-240
pcmag[3]
Reviewer score 64% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Canon RF 24-240mm covers a big zoom range, so your need to swap lenses is greatly lessened. At its widest setting it covers the same angle as a pro 24-70mm lens, but zooms in much further. The zoom power is enough for you to snap shots of your kid playing in a soccer league.
Pros
- All-in-one design
- Good image quality
- In-camera corrections
Cons
- Bulky
- Loss of detail at f/4
techradar[4]
Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)Canon RF 24-240mm f/4-6.3 IS USM is one of the company's most ambitious lenses yet. It has a four-function control ring that can be customized to suit your needs. It also has a 72mm filter thread at the front for conventional screw-in filters. Sharpness is generally very good throughout the zoom range, particularly at the telephoto end.
Pros
- Sharpness at wide-angle and telephoto
- Five-stop autofocus
- Good build quality
Cons
- Lateral chromatic aberration
- No weather resistance
