Acer R242Y Ayi is an entry-level 24-inch FHD monitor in Acer's 2021 lineup. It is powered by a basic 8-bit IPS panel that can get quite contrasty.

In terms of drawbacks, this monitor lacks HDR support, comes with limited adjustments, and is not very bright. Further, the 8-bit panel is rather limiting in terms of color reproduction. Lastly, VESA mount is sorely missing.
