Product Overview
Porsche 911 Speedster 991 is a limited production speedster based on the GT3 in production in 2019. It was powered by a modified flat-6 engine from the 991 GT3 that displaced 4.0 liters.
Essentially, the 911 Speedster is the open-top variant of the 991 GT3. It has the iconic speedster body style and offers superb handling characteristics.
With a 13.8L/100km (17.0mpg) fuel "dis-economy", owners have to be prepared to pay for their "smiles-per-mile". Utility-minded owners will likely need to keep an alternative for hauling things around, as the tiny cargo space is almost surely insufficient.

Each Speedster will cost £211,599, rising to £226,000 if you option the Heritage Design Pack.
Pros
- Gorgeous looks

Reviewer score 97% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Speedster is based on the previous 991-generation of Porsche's famous sports car. It was built in limited numbers as a 70th birthday present to itself. The UK allocation of the 1,948 global production run has already been sold. There's currently one for sale privately for £1million.
Pros
- Gorgeous design
- Impressive performance
- Spacious interior
Cons
- No manual gearbox
- Not the latest 911

Reviewer score 87% (normalized by Neofiliac)There are some lovely visual details on the Speedster, particularly if you opt for the Heritage Pack. For reasons of practicality, a couple of other details from the two concept cars have also been quietly ditched. The sound of the naturally aspirated six-cylinder engine is glorious, but not as all-encompassing as you might imagine.
Pros
- Gorgeous interior
- Phenomenal performance
- Terrific engine
Cons
- No manual transmission
- Slightly heavier than a standard GT3
