Product Overview

Ferrari SF90 Stradale (Type F173) is a mid-engine sports car in production from 2019. It is powered by a hybrid drivetrain based on a bi-turbo V8 engines that displaced 4.0 liters.
Essentially, the SF90 Stradale is the higher-end, hybridized version of the F8 Tributo. Unlike the McLaren Artura, which uses a V6 in its hybridization, the SF90 Stradale still keeps the V8.
In theory, the PHEV setup boosts the performance of the vehicle. However, the real difference is in the price and long-term reparability of the car.

Reviewer score 89% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
The SF90’s aerodynamically sculpted shape is maybe a little short on drama. But with an excellent form-following-function excuse, the interior feels markedly plusher. Most functions are controlled through touch-sensitive panels. The SF90 is also a composed cruiser with a modest but segment-appropriate amount of luggage space under the front bonnet.
Pros
  • Powerful V8
  • Impressive acceleration
  • Excellent fuel economy
Cons
  • Noisy fan
  • No automatic gearbox

autoexpress[2]

Reviewer score 97% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
Around Ferrari's Fiorano track, the SF90 is just 0.3 seconds shy of the La Ferrari hypercar. With the optional Assetto Fiorano pack (featuring track-focused passive dampers, a 30kg weight reduction, high-downforce rear wing and Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres for £40,000 extra) it laps a second quicker. In Race mode it makes almost 1,000bhp feel friendly and accessible.
Pros
  • Powerful V8
  • Impressive torque vectoring
  • Powerful electric motors
Cons
  • Not as powerful as rivals

carmagazine[3]

Reviewer score 97% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The SF90 switches effortlessly between its power sources and spends a surprising amount of time as an EV. The integration is genuinely impressive, as is the brake feel, which is far more natural than on most hybrid or electric cars. In Performance mode with the engine running full time and augmented by the electric powertrain, the F8's already minimal turbo lag isn't completely eradicated. Even from low engine revs the fourth and fifth gear go is colossal, and with all four wheels doing the work, traction is spectacular.
Pros
  • Powerful powertrain
  • Impressive handling
  • Powerful engine
Cons
  • Lack of luggage space

cnet[4]

Reviewer score 99% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cnet have found:
The Ferrari SF90 is the ferocious Ferrari you want. It has a trio of electric motors, intimately bonding one to a mid-mounted, turbocharged engine. The steering is lightning-quick, just like the F8 Tributo, diving to the apex. It's an engaging experience, but that's not to say it's necessarily a handful.
Pros
  • Powerful V8 engine
  • Sleek, all-carbon interior
  • Fantastic handling
Cons
  • Not as powerful as the F8 Tributo
