Product Overview

Audi TT RS FV (Type 8S) facelift is the high-performance variant of the FV Audi TT subcompact coupe in production from 2019. It s powered by a turbocharged inline-5 engine that displaced 2.5 liters. DCT and AWD are standard.
Essentially, the same I5 engine found in a range of FWD-based subcompact / compact Audi RS models is used here. Without going to VR6, which VW has only turbocharged for the Chinese market, the I5 is the largest unit that can fit into the tiny engine compartment of the vehicle.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Audi TT RS uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.

Reviewer score 81% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
The TT RS is a style-led alternative to 4WD mega hatches like the Mercedes-AMG A45. By the very nature of being a small coupé, it’s a fair bit more special to look at and sit in. The low-set driving position is superb, the ergonomics largely faultless and the driver-focused cabin is impeccably finished. The TT has more luggage space than you might expect - you can even squeeze a bike in the back with the seats folded.
Pros
  • Impressive acceleration
  • Impressive fuel economy
  • Comfortable to drive
Cons
  • Not as fun to drive as the RS 3
