Maserati MC20

Product Overview
Maserati MC20 is a mid-size sports car in production from 2020. It is powered by a single bi-turbo V6 engine that displaced 3.0 liters paired to an 8-speed DCT transmission.
Essentially a V6 Ferrari, the MC20 has more than enough performance to do everything the Ferraris can. However, the exclusivity and pricing of the MC20 may just make a Ferrari seem the better choice.
Owners may find that at speed the vehicle consumes a lot more than the numbers indicate, thanks to a disappointing 0.38 coefficient of drag to show for it. Utility-minded owners will likely need to keep an alternative for hauling things around, as the tiny cargo space is almost surely insufficient.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Maserati MC20 comes with double-wishbone suspensions at all four corners. This provides the good cornering performance and durability, though multi-link tends to be more tunable.

External Reviews
autocar[1]
Reviewer score 90% (normalized by Neofiliac)-drive road cars to boast a 0-62mph time of less than 3.0sec. Top speed is put at 203mph, just 2mph shy of the earlier MC12. Maserati says it has developed this new mid-range model as much for everyday driving as for race track outings.
Pros
- Gorgeous looks
- Powerful engine
- Impressive handling
Cons
- Pricier than rivals
autoexpress[2]
Reviewer score 84% (normalized by Neofiliac)The Maserati MC20 has been developed to take both petrol power and an advanced pure-electric powertrain that will come later. The 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 is a last hurrah for combustion power, incorporating real F1 tech in a road car. From behind the wheel the MC20 feels like a big, friendly Alpine A110, with similar levels of confidence-inspiring feedback.
Pros
- Powerful V6
- Punchy performance
- Superb infotainment system
Cons
- Lacklustre cabin
- No climate control
carmagazine[3]
Reviewer score 85% (normalized by Neofiliac)The beauty of the MC20 is how placeable and agile it is. It's longer and only a fraction narrower than a Ferrari F8 Tributo. Thanks partly to an electromechanical steering setup, it's possible to make the car follow whatever line the driver picks with minimal compromise. Power is sent to the rear wheels only via an eight-speed DCT transmissions.
Pros
- Powerful engine
- Impressive handling
- Comfortable to drive
Cons
- Not as fast as rivals
