Product Overview

Skoda Kodiaq (chassis code NS7) facelift is an affordable mid-size crossover in production from 2021. It is available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.5 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, the facelifted Kodiaq has sharper lines but no notable mechanical updates.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, need to think twice before pulling the trigger: the Skoda Kodiaq is hardly the "offroader" that Skoda would like you to think. Utility-minded owners will love the 2065L (73cu-ft) cargo space.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Skoda Kodiaq uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.

External Reviews

autocar[1]

Reviewer score 63% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
The Kodiaq has received the usual visual nip and tuck. You will mainly recognise the facelift model from the slightly slimmer headlights. Inside, there’s a new steering wheel, some grey stitching and revised ‘ergonomic seats’ As before, all trims but entry-level SE get you seven seats as standard.
Pros
  • Stylish looks
  • Decent infotainment system
  • Lots of standard equipment
Cons
  • Ride can get a bit thumpy
  • Sportline trim isn’t the best

autoexpress[2]

Reviewer score 69% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
£40,170 SportLine model gets you a 2.0-litre TSI four-cylinder turbo engine with 187bhp and 320Nm of torque. All SportLine models come with a DSG gearbox as standard, but the two-wheel-drive 1.5 TSI 150 might be better value, at £36,340. The chassis delivers a refined and relaxing ride, while the progressive steering means the Kodiaq is still pointy and direct enough. At higher revs the turbocharged engine can sound a little coarse.
Pros
  • Comfortable ride
  • Decent infotainment tech
  • Good standard equipment
Cons
  • A little coarse at higher revs
