GMC Yukon XL 5 is a full-size SUV in production from 2020. It is available with a range of V8 engines that displaced 5.3 to 6.2 liters.
Compared to the standard Yukon, the XL has more space for the third-row passengers as well as cargo space with the third row up. In other aspects, it is a larger, worse-handling, and less efficient alternative.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, need to think twice before pulling the trigger: the GMC Yukon XL 5 is hardly the "offroader" that GMC would like you to think. With a 13.1L/100km (18.0mpg) fuel "dis-economy", owners have to be prepared to pay for their "smiles-per-mile". Utility-minded owners will love the high 4097L (145cu-ft) of cargo space.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the GMC Yukon XL V comes with independent suspensions at all four corners. This provides the best cornering performance and tunability, at the expense of cost and a little bit of durability.
