Product Overview

Volkswagen Touran 2 (Type 5T) is a compact minivan in production from 2015. It is available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.0 to 2.0 liters.
Like its predecessor, the Mk2 Touran remains an uninspiring vehicle, thanks to its shape of a box. The car got a cleaner design, but nothing is memorable about it.

Reviewer score 71% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
The first 7 seater MPV was replaced by the Mk2 in 2015. It's likely that this version of the Touran won't be around for as long. The model range comprises S, SE, SE Family, SEL and R-Line, with prices starting from around £24,500. All cars are front-wheel drive - there's no 4MOTION option in the UK. Power comes from 1.0 & 1.5 TSI petrol engines or 1.6 and 2.0 TDI diesels.
Pros
  • Cheap to buy and run
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Good standard equipment
Cons
  • No 4MOTION option in the UK
