Product Overview

Porsche Panamera 971 Sport Turismo G2 facelift is a full-size station wagon in production from 2020. It is available with a range of V6 and V8 engines that displaced 2.9 to 4.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift, more emphasis has been placed on hybridization. Porsche also has to conform to more stringent emission standards. In other aspects, the car has remained roughly the same, with a small bump in power output included.
The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo 971 comes with double-wishbone at the front and multi-link at the rear. This is a bit unusual for AWD and less tunable than a multi-link front setup, but what you lose in performance you gain in durability.

External Reviews

autocar[1]

Reviewer score 89% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
As with all E-Hybrid models, the Turbo S springs noiselessly to life. In the all-electric E-Power and Hybrid modes, the car will always start off on battery power alone, using just the 134bhp motor. Performance is adequate rather than, ahem, electrifying, but there’s more than enough muscle to keep up with the flow of traffic.
Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Powerful engine
  • Comfortable to drive
Cons
  • Pricier than non-hybrid models

cnet[2]

Reviewer score 91% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cnet have found:
The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid has zero problem pretending it's much lighter than its 5,042-pound curb weight. My only real complaint comes from the brakes, which Porsche tweaked via software for 2021. There's tons of room to access the cargo areas on both variants, since the regular Panamera is technically a hatchback.
Pros
  • Gorgeous interior
  • Fantastic infotainment system
  • Lots of cargo space
Cons
  • Not as practical as the regular Panamera
