Alpina D3 S Touring G21 is a performance compact executive station wagon in production from 2020. It is powered by a tuned inline-6 turbodiesel engine that displaced 3.0 liters.
Based on the G21 M340d, the D3 S has only marginal increase in output. Thus, it is even less appealing than the Alpina B3 of the same generation, which is at least more powerful than the M340i.
Nevertheless, the D3 S is better-looking than the M340d.

Reviewer score 76% (normalized by Neofiliac)The D3 S runs an upgraded version of BMW’s turbocharged 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder diesel with a 48V starter-generator. The diesel engine doesn’t have the emotional appeal of a well-sorted petrol unit and offers little above 5000rpm. But what it lacks in its ability to rev, it more than makes up for in its muscular mid-range.
