Product Overview

Toyota Tacoma Mk3 is a mid-size pickup in production from 2015. It is available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.7 to 3.5 liters.
Slotted between the Hilux and the Tundra, the Tacoma is a favorite among many who use the truck for work.
Compared to its predecessor, the Mk3 has more upscale styling and is more capable. As the car is primarily aimed for the American market, it is petrol-only and no V8 is offered.

External Reviews

cnet[1]

Reviewer score 49% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from cnet have found:
The Tacoma's optional 3.5-liter V6 cranks out 278 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. The six-speed automatic transmission feels like a relic discovered during an archeological expedition. The infotainment system, on the other hand, doesn't really move beyond "fine"
Pros
  • Solid towing and off-road specs
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Competitive ride quality
Cons
  • Lackluster infotainment
  • Lacks rear parking sensors
