Alpina D3 G20 is a high-performance compact executive sedan in production from 2020. It is powered by a modified BMW B57 engines that displaced 3.0 liters. Like all other Alpina vehicles of this generation, a ZF 8HP automatic transmission is used, and AWD comes standard.
The mild-hybrid drivetrain enables new efficiency features, though the difference is, as the name suggests, mild, just enough to please the bureaucrats for a couple more years.
As usual, the D3 S is the closest to a diesel M3 that one can get, and those who appreciate the fuel economy and low-end torque of diesels will be pleased.
