Product Overview

BMW 3 Series E93 LCI Convertible is a compact executive convertible in production from 2010 to 2013. It was available with a range of inline-4 and inline-6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift E93 Convertible, the LCI introduced some new engines, including the slightly more reliable N55 I6 petrol and N47/N57 diesels. These all still suffer from timing chain-related issues, weak injectors and high pressure pumps, and numerous leaks.
Overall, the car remains good to look at but unreliable to run. The complex hard convertible top is almost a coup de grace, adding a lot of top weight and areas that need constant repair.
