Product Overview

BMW 2 Series F23 Convertible is a compact convertible in production from 2015 to 2017, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-3, inline-4, and inline-6 engines that displaced 1.5 to 3.0 liters.
The successor to the E88 1 Series Convertible, the F23 shares its chassis with the F22 Coupe and is related to the F20/F21 hatchbacks. This separation echoes that of the 4 Series from the 3 Series. Still, the F22 and F23 are slightly longer than the hatchbacks to accommodate a trunk. Compared to the E88, this makes the car less awkward.
Mechanically, the F23 saw the rollout of the B-series inline engines that displaced the horrible N20/N47 from before. With the new 8-speed ZF 8HP automatic transmission, or indeed the 6-speed manual, the car is much more reliable.
