BMW M3 E46 Convertible is a compact executive convertible in production from 2001 to 2006. It was powered by an S54B32 naturally-aspirated inline-6 engine that displaced 3.2 liters. Both manual and SMG automated manual transmissions were available.

The first M3 Convertible, the E46 M3 Convertible shares the powertrain and chassis with the E46 Coupe. Its S54 engine boasts individual throttle bodies for each cylinder and is one of the most desired M3s among the enthusiasts.

Still, most prefer the Coupe for its higher rigidity and lower weight.
