Product Overview

BMW Z8 E52 is a flagship compact convertible sports car in production from 2000 to 2005. It was powered by an S62 naturally-aspirated V8 engine that displaced 4.9 liters paired to a 6-speed manual transmission.
A retro-styled roadster, the Z8 debuted with the Bond film The World Is Not Enough. It features an all-aluminum chassis, though it is by no means a light car. Curiously, it still used MacPherson front suspensions found in the much cheaper Z3/Z4, despite its very high price tag.
Since its discontinuation, the price of Z8s shot up quickly, perhaps largely owning to the success of its design more than its performance or handling.
Ironically, one could get a Morgan Aero 8 and Plus 8 with better performance and handling for less. The Morgan is arguably more elegant and certainly much, much lighter, too.
