Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz SLC R172 facelift is a compact convertible in production from 2016 to 2020. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 1.6 to 3.0 liters.
Compared to the R172 SLK-Class, to which the SLC is a facelift, the SLC has a vastly different front and rear design. Downsizing, however, went further: The AMG model became a bi-turbo V6, while all others have to do with just an inline-4.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Mercedes-Benz SLC comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners. This provides the best cornering performance and tunability, at the expense of cost and a little bit of durability.
