Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz CLK A209 facelift is a compact executive convertible in production from 2005 to 2009. It was available with a range of inline-4, V6, and V8 engines that displaced 1.8 to 6.2 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift A209, the CLK Convertible has roughly the same styling, though Mercedes made a few engine changes. Notably, the CLK 55 AMG was replaced by the CLK 63 AMG with the M156 engine. During the model run, the M113 V8 was also replaced by the M273 engine with a DOHC design and higher displacement.
Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Mercedes-Benz CLK uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
