Porsche Boxster 981 is a compact convertible sports car in production from 2012 to 2016. It was available with a range of flat-6 engines that displaced 2.7 to 3.8 liters.
The last generation of Boxsters to feature naturally-aspirated engines, the 981 has a much improved exterior styling. It now looks good especially with the top down, though it is decent with the top up, too.
Unsurprisingly, the engines in the 981 are largely carry-overs from the 987.2, though they are up-rated. Porsche also kept the MacPherson-type suspensions all around.
