Product Overview

Aston Martin DB7 Volante is a mid-size luxury convertible in production from 1996 to 2003. It was available with an inline-6 and a V12 engine that displaced 3.2 and 5.9 liters. Both manual and automatic transmissions were available.
Originally sold with the Inline-6 engine, the DB7 Volante was slotted as a mid-range model. However, Aston Martin introduced its new 5.9L V12 to the chassis in 1999, making it the proper luxury GT convertible in AM's lineup.
With a 18.7L/100km (12.6mpg) fuel "dis-economy", owners have to be prepared to pay for their "smiles-per-mile". Utility-minded owners will likely need to keep an alternative for hauling things around, as the tiny cargo space is almost surely insufficient.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Aston Martin DB7 Volante comes with double-wishbone suspensions at all four corners.
