Chevrolet Corvette C5 Convertible is a high-performance mid-size convertible sports car in production from 1999 to 2004. It was available with a range of V8 engines that displaced 5.7 liters.
Like all past Corvettes, the C5 uses composite body panels. It remains the flagship sports car in GM's lineup. It employs double wishbone suspensions in all corners and offers much improved handling compared to previous Corvettes.
