Product Overview

Mazda MX-5 Mk3 (chassis code NC1) is an affordable subcompact convertible sports car in production from 2005 to 2008, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.8 to 2.0 liters. Mazda sold the MX-5 as Miata in the US and Roadster in Japan.
Compared to earlier MX-5s, the Mk3 came with both a soft top and a hard top. The latter provides the advantage of additional coupe experience, though it is slightly heavier. The Mk3 is also more powerful, especially with the 2.0 engine and 6-speed manual transmission.
