Product Overview

Jaguar F-Type Convertible (X152) is a premium convertible in production from 2013 to 2020, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4, V6, and V8 engines that displaced 2.0 to 5.0 liters.
Compared to the XK that preceded it, the F-Type is markedly smaller, as it lost the rear seats. As such, it is a much less elegant yet considerably sportier car. Hence, the Convertible makes less sense than the Coupe, even though its designers made a good effort in crafting this car.
Whereas the X150 XK only used V8s, the F-Type is plagued with small and smaller engines. One small highlight is that one V6 drivetrain option has a manual transmission, which is a rarity in today's world. Still, one should get the V8 when purchasing this car.

Reviewer score 75% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carwow have found:
The F-Type Convertible looks much the same for 2020 save for some new lights. Jaguar has gone ahead and given it new lights, a new grille and front bumper anyway. Unlike the Porsche 911 Cabriolet, which has a couple of small seats in the rear, the Jaguar F- Type Convertible is a strict two-seater.
Pros
  • Lots of space for two adults
  • Lots of fun to drive
Cons
  • Not the latest infotainment system
  • No manual gearbox
