Product Overview

Mini Convertible Mk3 (chassis code F57) is an affordable subcompact convertible in production from 2016 to 2018, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-3 and inline-4 engines that displaced 1.2 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the Mk2 Mini Convertible, the F57 generation brought inline-3 engine in the One and Cooper. This is another letdown, after Mini introduced diesel to the Convertible in the previous generation.
Styling-wise, one can be forgiven for not noticing any difference, even though side-by-side many elements have been tweaked.
Utility-minded owners will have to keep in mind that the 215L (8cu-ft) cargo space may not be sufficient.

The Mini comes with 15-inch alloys are standard (16s for the Cooper S), while 16s and 18s are available. The Chili Pack bundles options together, including full LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, cruise control and a few other niceties. There's also Chrome Line exterior detailing, personalised mirror caps and bonnet stripes. The seats are comfy, but perched quite high.
Pros
