Product Overview

Mini Roadster (chassis code R59) is an affordable subcompact convertible in production from 2012 to 2015. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the Mini Convertible R57, the R59 Roadster is based on the Mini Coupe. It is a 2-seater. Unfortunately, it is rather ugly, and the tight space of the Convertible is made even tighter here.
Mini also used diesel engines that are ill-suited for open-top driving.
