Product Overview

Fiat Barchetta (Type 183) is an entry-level subcompact convertible in production from 1995 to 2005. It was powered by a naturally-aspirated inline-4 engine that displaced 1.7 liters paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.
Almost an MX-5 look-aliike, the Barchetta has a FWD layout. Indeed, it shares its underpinnings with some of the worst subcompact hatchbacks on the market at the time from Fiat. Hence, while the Barchetta looks like a fun car, it lacks the dynamics, power, refinement, and reliability to be one.
