Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz CLK C209 facelift is a compact executive coupe in production from 2005 to 2009. It was available with a range of inline-5, V6, and V8 engines that displaced 1.8 to 6.2 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift C209 CLK, the facelift lost the CLK 55 AMG and replaced it with the 6.2L M156 engine in the CLK 63 AMG. This is the most desirable engine option. Mercedes also phased out the M113 engine in the CLK 500, replacing it with the new M273 engine that had issues in the first production years.
Mercedes-Benz has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it. Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Mercedes-Benz CLK (C209) uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
