Product Overview

Mercedes-Benz CLK C209 is a compact executive coupe in production from 2002 to 2005, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4, inline-5, V6, and V8 engines that displaced 1.8 to 5.4 liters.
Based on the W203 C-Class, the CLK is slotted between the C and the E classes. Compared to the C208 CLK, the C209 is more modern but less distinctive in styling.
Notably, the CLK 55 AMG is naturally-aspirated. Mercedes did not endow it with the supercharged variant found in higher-end models.
Mercedes-Benz has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it. Drivers who appreciate handling should keep in mind that the Mercedes-Benz CLK (C209) uses MacPherson front suspension, which doesn't provide the best cornering performance.
