Product Overview

BMW 2 Series F22 LCI is a compact coupe in production from 2017 to 2021. It was available with a range of inline-3, inline-4, and inline-6 engines that displaced 1.5 to 3.0 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift F22 2 Series Coupe, the LCI introduced marginal styling changes and a refresh of the engine lineup. Notably, the B58 I6 petrol replaced the N55. This engine, thanks to its closed deck design (roughly the same block in the B57 diesel), is more robust. Still, we must not hold fantasies on its long-term reliability, especially considering that the bearings on this engine has polymer coatings.
BMW has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it. The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
