Product Overview

Porsche Cayman 981 is a compact sports car in production from 2013 to 2016. It was available with a range of flat-6 engines that displaced 2.7 to 3.8 liters.
Compared to the 987c generation, the 981 Cayman has an improved styling to accommodate the mid-engine layout without looking awkward. Porsche also improved the drivetrain overall.
At the same time, the Cayman continued to use MacPherson-type suspensions that are not conducive to good handling characteristics.
