Product Overview

Porsche 911 (chassis code 997.2) facelift is a mid-size sports car in production from 2009 to 2013. It was available with a range of flat-6 engines that displaced 3.6 to 3.8 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift model, the 997 facelift introduced some major changes: Most notably, Porsche adopted its brand of dual-clutch transmission, PDK, which went on to displace all automatic transmissions offered across Porsche's model lineup. Other updates include slightly larger displacement in select models and power bump in all.
Other tradeoffs, notably with regards to the MacPherson front suspension, remained.
