Product Overview

Alpina B3 Bi-Turbo E92 Coupe is a compact executive coupe based on BMW E92 Coupe in production from 2007 to 2013. It was powered by two tunes of the BMW N54 inline-6 petrol engine that displaced 3.0 liters paired to 6-speed ZF 6HP automatic transmission.
Alpina upgraded the turbochargers on the N54 engine and gave it a range of Alpina-exclusive interior and exterior updates. However, with turbocharging, Alpina no longer touches the short block of the engine.

carmagazine[1]

Reviewer score 52% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The B3 Bi-Turbo is a thorough reworking of the 335i M Sport that the B3 is based upon. The 3.0-litre six has had a two smaller turbos fitted instead for improved throttle response. Power has been upped from 308bhp to 404bhp – only 4bhp less than the outgoing V8 M3. The B3 has a top speed of 190mph and it can reach 125mph in a mere 14sec.
Pros
  • Powerful engine
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Impressive handling
Cons
  • Not as refined as M3
  • Body control could be better
