Product Overview

Jaguar F-Type X152 is a mid-size grand tourer in production from 2014 to 2020, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4, V6, and V8 engines that displaced 2.0 to 5.0 liters.
A giant departure from the elegance of the X100 and X150 Jaguar XK, the F-Type is smaller and more brutish. It was designed to appeal to younger, less cultured buyers and the nouveau riche. At the same time, Jaguar introduced exceedingly smaller engines and manual transmission during its long production run.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Jaguar F-type Coupe comes with double-wishbone suspensions at all four corners. This provides the good cornering performance and durability.

External Reviews

autocar[1]

Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autocar have found:
The F-Type still makes for entirely pleasant and agreeable company on the right road. It can be precise without being too serious, entertaining yet not gratuitously silly, and brisk without being dangerously so. It’s no coincidence that our favourite sports cars at this price point, cars like the Alpine A110 and Porsche 718 Cayman, are considerably lighter. While only a coupe for now, the smaller, nimbler Alpine A 110 really is a revelation for the market.
Pros
  • Powerful V6
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Impressive infotainment system
Cons
  • Not the most fun to drive

autoexpress[2]

Reviewer score 73% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
The Jaguar F-Type was a stunning sports car when it was introduced in 2013. Since then, it has gradually evolved into a desirable range of Jaguars. You can buy a coupe or a convertible, with four-cylinder, V6 and V8 engines. Overall, though, it's time Jaguar put a bit more elbow grease into its best sports car.
Pros
  • Gorgeous looks
  • Excellent handling
Cons
  • Not the most exciting to drive
  • Not the best looking sports car on the market
