Product Overview

Toyota RAV4 Mk3 (chassis code XA30) is a compact crossover in production from 2005 to 2013. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 2.0 to 2.2 liters.
Compared to the Mk2 RAV4, the Mk3 barely changed in styling, though it is subtly cleaner. Unlike the Mk2, the Mk3 is 5-door only.
In select markets, Toyota also marketed an LWB variant of the RAV4. This is sometimes badged as Toyota Vanguard.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, will appreciate the approach, departure, and breakover angles that the chassis offers, even though it is a monocoque. Another plus is the small 10.2m (33.5ft) turning circle.
