Product Overview

Kia Sorento 2 (chassis code XM) is a mid-size crossover in production from 2009 to 2014. It was available with a range of inline-4 and V6 engines that displaced 2.0 to 3.5 liters.
Compared to the original Sorento, the Mk2 lost the body-on-frame construction and became a crossover. This move helped Kia improve the vehicle's interior space without making it too much bigger.
Still, the Sorento 2 is not optimized for the road, either: Owners may find that at speed the vehicle consumes a lot more than the numbers indicate, thanks to a disappointing 0.38 coefficient of drag to show for it.
