Product Overview

Hyundai Veracruz (chassis code EN) is a mid-size crossover in production from 2006 to 2013. It was available with a range of V6 engines that displaced 3.0 to 3.8 liters. Hyundai also marketed this vehicle as ix55 in select markets.
Bearing some resemblance to the Lexus RX of the period, the Veracruz was an attempt to enter a more lucrative segment.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, need to think twice before pulling the trigger: the Hyundai Veracruz is hardly the "offroader" that Hyundai would like you to think. Owners may find that at speed the vehicle consumes a lot more than the numbers indicate, thanks to a disappointing 0.38 coefficient of drag to show for it.
