Product Overview

Volkswagen Tiguan 2 (chassis code AD) is a compact crossover in production from 2016 to 2020, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
Now sharing its design with the mid-size Touareg and large Atlas, the Tiguan Mk2 is decidedly more handsome than the original. Unfortunately, its engine lineup is downsized and somewhat pathetic.
Drivers who appreciate handling will be pleased to know that the Volkswagen Tiguan II comes with multi-link suspensions at all four corners. This provides the best cornering performance and tunability, at the expense of cost and a little bit of durability.
