Product Overview

Volvo XC90 II is a large crossover in production from 2015 to 2019, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 2.0 liters.
The first company to cut its engine lineup to essentially one single I4 block, Volvo managed to power the XC90 Mk2 with a wide range of drivetrain options. Most have so far proven troublesome, though the engines are not very difficult to repair.
Compared to the original XC90, the Mk2 is a notable improvement appearance-wise. Many consumers are lured in by the superb design and great interior quality.
Volvo has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.28 coefficient of drag to show for it. The official fuel economy rating is exceptionally rosy, though it may cast more doubts on the trustworthiness of the regulators and perhaps the owner's own sanity than it relates to reality.
