Product Overview

Volvo XC90 facelift is a mid-size crossover in production from 2007 to 2014. It was available with a range of inline-5, inline-6, and V8 engines that displaced 2.4 to 4.4 liters.
Compared to the pre-facelift, the facelifted XC90 remained largely the same, though some new engines were introduced. The old 4-speed GM automatic transmission was retired and replaced by Aisin units.

Reviewer score 65% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
The XC90 R-Design is a specification introduced by Volvo across C30, S40, V50 and XC 90. Modifications are usually cosmetic but there's a sports chassis to round off the package. Suspension had appeared previously on the SE Sport derivative, but now Volvo has pulled all the elements together. 19 inch alloys, quad exhausts, skid plate and matt finished to the mirrors show purpose.
Pros
  • Sleek, well-rounded interior
  • Lots of fun to drive
Cons
  • Expensive for what’s on offer
  • Cheap to run
