Kia Carens 3 (chassis code RP) is an affordable mid-size minivan in production from 2013 to 2019. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.6 to 2.0 liters.
Compared to the Mk2 Carens, the Mk3 introduced a 7-speed DCT as the automatic transmission in 2016, while the model launched with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. They helped Kia improve the vehicle's fuel efficiency ratings. Otherwise, the engines have been updated to meet newer emission regulations.
Unfortunately, the Carens 3 uses semi-independent rear suspensions and is rather ugly.
