Product Overview

Seat Alhambra II (Typ 7N) is a large minivan in production from 2010 to 2020. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 1.4 to 2.0 liters.
Essentially a lesser alternative to the Volkswagen Sharan, the Mk2 Alhambra offers lots of space inside but is rather uninspiring.
Seat has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.29 coefficient of drag to show for it. Utility-minded owners will love the 2430L (86cu-ft) cargo space.
Volkswagen also markets this vehicle as the VW Sharan II. The two only differs in the badge and were assembled on the same production line.

External Reviews

autoexpress[1]

Reviewer score 72% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from autoexpress have found:
The SEAT Alhambra is a vast 7-seater that's for sale in the MPV class. It's the same size as the VW Sharan, and the Ford Galaxy is a similar size. Prices start from around £30,000 and topping out at around £38,500.
Pros
  • Comfortable to drive
  • Lots of space for the money
  • Good standard equipment
Cons
  • Not as practical as rivals

carmagazine[2]

Reviewer score 70% (normalized by Neofiliac)
Reviewers from carmagazine have found:
New 2010 Seat Alhambra MPV is a far more practical offering than its predecessor. Key to its newfound practicality is the switch to sliding rear doors. There's decent head- and legroom in row three, so you can squeeze in adults in both rear rows. A-pillar blindspots present a small but irritating obstruction in your field of vision.
Pros
  • Roomy, well-built cabin
  • Roomy boot space
  • Decent infotainment system
Cons
  • Dastardly blindspots
  • Noisy A-pillar
