Toyota Hilux 8 Extra Cab is a mid-size pickup in production from 2015 to 2020, whereupon it received a facelift. It was available with a range of inline-4 engines that displaced 2.0 to 4.0 liters.
Compared to the Mk7 Hilux, the Mk8 has a more modern exterior styling and much improved cabin technology. The Extra Cab body style is a more interesting compromise between the Single and Double cab versions to some consumers.
Those who drive offroad, for work or leisure, will appreciate the extraordinary approach and departure angles that the chassis offers. Owners may find that at speed the vehicle consumes a lot more than the numbers indicate, thanks to a disappointing 0.39 coefficient of drag to show for it. The Toyota Hilux Extra Cab VIII also comes with a high towing capacity.
