Product Overview

Toyota Prius 3 (chassis code ZVW30) is a mid-size hatchback in production from 2009 to 2015. It was powered by a single 1.8L Atkinson Cycle I4 petrol engine aided by a couple of motor-generators in the e-CVT.
Compared to the Mk2 Prius, the Prius 3 has a much more elegant exterior design, effectively mitigating the awkwardness that resulted from minimizing drag. The vehicle is notably punchier, though it is even more fuel-efficient.
