Toyota Prius 2 (NHW20) is a compact hatchback in production from 2003 to 2009. It was powered by a single hybrid powertrain with a 1.5L Atkinson Cycle 1NZ-FXE petrol engine aided by a couple of motor-generators in the e-CVT unit.

Toyota has made a good effort in aerodynamics, with a decent 0.26 coefficient of drag to show for it. All other aspects of the vehicle have been engineered for high fuel economy, too.
